Day 1 (Thursday) HAVANA - GUAMÁ - CIENFUEGOS

 

Departure to Guamá, reproduction of a Taino village, located in the Zapata Peninsula, province of Matanzas.

 

Visit to the Crocodile Nursery ,and boat trip to the Taino Village, with tour of the place.

 

Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Cienfuegos.

 

Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 2 (Friday) CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD

 

Breakfast. Tour of the city of Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South.

 

Tour of its streets ,and avenues founded by the French.

 

It is located in a wonderful bay, where Cuba's largest coral is so far discovered, and baptized with the name of Notre Dame.

 

Visit to the Martí Park, Tomás Terry Theater, House of Cultural Property and the Purísima Concepción Cathedral.

 

Lunch at a local restaurant and continuation to Trinidad.

 

Arrival at the hotel, accommodation and dinner.

 

Day 3 (Saturday) TRINIDAD

Breakfast.

 

Tour of the city of Trinidad, city stopped in time.

 

Visit to the Plaza Mayor, City Museum, the Church of the Holy Trinity, Bar Canchánchara, with its typical welcome cocktail, and the Ceramic Workshop.

 

Lunch at a local restaurant. Accommodation and dinner

 

Day 4 (Sunday) TRINIDAD - SANCTI SPIRITUS - CAMAGÜEY

 

 

Breakfast.

 

Departure to Sancti Spiritus. Visit to the Valle de los Ingenios. Panoramic walk through the city.

 

Stop at the Yayabo River Tavern, emblematic building of the early twentieth century, newly built and where you can taste excellent wines and tapas.

 

Departure to Camaguey and lunch in transit in the city of Ciego de Ávila.

 

Arrival in Camaguey, accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

 

 

 

Day 5 (Monday) CAMAGÜEY - BAYAMO - SANTIAGO DE CUBA

 

 

 

Breakfast.

 

Departure to Santiago de Cuba.

 

Visit to the city of Bayamo, cultural capital of Cuba, known as the city of the national anthem.

 

Walk around the Cathedral of San Salvador de Bayamo, where for the first time the notes of the historic hymn were sung and the first government of the Republic of Arms was established in the 19th century.

 

Lunch, and at the end, continuation of the trip to Santiago.

 

In transit, visit the Sanctuary of Copper, located in the middle of the Sierra Maestra, 20 minutes from the city of Santiaguera and part of the historic religious pilgrimage of Cubans to visit the Virgen de la Caridad, Patroness of Cuba.

 

Continuation to Santiago de Cuba, accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 6 (Tuesday) SANTIAGO DE CUBA

 

  Breakfast. Visit to the city of Santiago de Cuba, the first capital of the island founded by the Spanish conquerors.

 

  Visit the Historic Center, Cathedral Square or Céspedes Park, around which are the most important Mansions ,and Streets of Santiago.

 

  Visit the Diego Velásquez Museum or Colonial Environment, visit the Fort San Pedro de la Roca or El Morro, where the Piracy Museum is located and which holds the title of World Heritage.

 

  Lunch in a local restaurant..

 

   Visit to the Santa Efigenia cemetery.

 

   Return to the hotel, night available ,and dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 7 (Wednesday) SANTIAGO DE CUBA

 

Breakfast.

 

Return to Guardalavaca or Havana included.
