Día 1 LA HABANA - LAS TERRAZAS - VIÑALES

Desayuno. Recogida en el hotel. Salida hacia Las Terrazas, proyecto ecológico ubicado en la Sierra del Rosario, declarada por la UNESCO Reserva de la Biosfera, disfrutando de la flora y la fauna cubana y de las bellezas del lugar.
A la llegada, recibimiento en Rancho Curujey, con disfrute de cóctel de bienvenida amenizado por un grupo local de música tradicional cubana. Explicación del Proyecto Social que se desarrolla en esta localidad apoyada en imágenes ilustrativas. Visitas a la Comunidad Las Terrazas, paseo por el Callejón de la Moka y degustación de un café criollo. Visita al cafetal Buenavista, hacienda del siglo XIX restaurada parcialmente. Almuerzo en uno de los restaurantes del Complejo. Visita al Río San Juan con tiempo libre para disfrutar de un refrescante baño. Continuación del viaje hacia Viñales. Alojamiento y cena en el hotel confirmado.

Día 2 VIÑALES

Desayuno.
Recorrido por el Valle de Viñales, declarado Paisaje Cultural Protegido por la UNESCO y Monumento Nacional. Visita a la finca de un campesino, la visita incluye La Ruta del Tabaco, para disfrutar de manera interactiva de todas las etapas por la que atraviesa este producto, desde las plantaciones, proceso de secado en la vega, despalillo y torcido del tabaco. Visita el Mural de la Prehistoria, uno de los más importantes frescos a cielo abierto del mundo, que recrea en la ladera de un mogote la evolución de la vida en sentido natural en Cuba. Almuerzo en restaurante local. A continuación, visita al Mirador de los Jazmines donde podrá admirar una espectacular visita del Valle de Viñales.
Almuerzo y cena en el hotel.

Día 3 VIÑALES - SOROA - HABANA

Desayuno.
Salida a La Habana. De camino, recorrido por Soroa con visita al Orquideario, que atesora la más grande y diversa colección de estos especímenes en Cuba, con unas 130 especies autóctonas y 700 provinentes de las regiones tropicales y subtropicales de todo el mundo. Visita al Salto de Soroa de 22 metros de altura y considerado una de las maravillas de la geografía cubana.
Almuerzo en un restaurante local.
Al finalizar, salida hacia La Habana.
Alojamiento en el hotel seleccionado.

The largest island in the Caribbean is widely known for its classic cars, cigars, and aged rum, but there's so much more to see when you scratch below the colorful surface and head out into the country. Practice some salsa steps, enjoy Creole food in an eco-village, and learn about local tobacco plantations.

Day 1 (Monday/Thursday) HAVANA - CIENFUEGOS

Departure to Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South. Tour of its streets and avenues founded by the French. It is located in a wonderful bay, where the largest coral in Cuba discovered so far is found, and baptized with the name of Notre Dame.
Lunch and free time.
Walk around the bay (provided weather conditions allow it in the summer). Visit to the botanical garden and the Palacio del Valle with a cocktail included (in the winter). Accommodation according to selected hotel and dinner.

Day 2 (Tuesday/Friday) CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD

Breakfast.
At 10:00 am visit to the Dolphinarium and interaction with the dolphins (closed Wednesday).
Departure for Trinidad.
City tour.
Visit to the Plaza Mayor; a Museum of the city; The Church of the Holy Trinity; La Canchánchara Bar, with its typical welcome cocktail; and Ceramic Workshop.
Lunch and free time in the city.
Return to the hotel with accommodation included.
Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 (Wednesday/Saturday) TRINIDAD - VALLE DE LOS INGENIOS - SANTA CLARA - HAVANA / VARADERO / CAYO SANTA MARÍA

Breakfast and departure to the Valle de los Ingenios. San Isidro de los Destiladeros is one of the oldest and most complete sugar mills in the Valle de los Ingenios, and you will also visit the house-dwelling and a unique bell tower, from where you can see various remains of the other components of the mill and it is considered one of the most valuable archaeological sites in the valley.
Lunch and continuation Santa Clara. Visit to Plaza Ernesto Che Guevara, a meeting place with one of the most prominent and charismatic personalities in contemporary world history, and where the Museum and the memorial that bears his name are located.

ITINERARY:

Day 1 (Saturday) HAVANA

 

City tour with visit to the Historic Center of Old Havana, a World Heritage Site. Visit of the Cathedral Square, Plaza de Armas, San Francisco de Asís Square and Old Square.

Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, panoramic vintage car ride through the Capitol, Central Park, Fraternity Park, Revolution Square and return to the hotel. (Stay not included)

 

Day 2 (Sunday) HAVANA - LAS TERRAZAS - HAVANA

 

Departure to Las Terrazas, an ecological project located in the Sierra del Rosario, declared by UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, enjoying the Cuban flora and fauna and the beauties of the place.

The La Moka hotel will be known, a unique installation inserted in the forest. Visit the Hacienda La Unión, with a beautiful garden of tropical plants. Travel to the partially rebuilt ruins of Cafetal Buenavista, coffee farm of the nineteenth century, learning didactically the history of the place and the process of the benefit of coffee at the time.

Contact with the community, visiting the Plaza del Pueblo and its socio-cultural facilities, with the possibility of tasting the exquisite Cuban coffee at María's house (not included).

The Serigraphy Workshop of the place will be visited, being able to know about this work and the craft that is developed in the place, with possibilities to buy various items. Lunch in the area and, if desired, bath time in the San Juan River.

Return and stay in Havana hotel. (Stay not included)

 

Day 3 (Monday) HAVANA - GUAMÁ - TRINIDAD

 

Departure to Guamá, located in the Zapata Peninsula, province of Matanzas.

Explanations of interest of the guide during the tour.

Visit to the Crocodile Farm.

Lunch in a restaurant of the zone.

At the end of lunch, departure to the city of Trinidad.

Day 4 (Tuesday) TRINIDAD

 

Breakfast. Tour of the city of Trinidad, city stopped in time.

Visit to the Plaza Mayor; Romantic Museum; The Church of the Holy Trinity; La Canchánchara Bar, with its typical welcome cocktail; and Ceramics Workshop.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Free time in the city.

Return to the hotel and dinner. Night available.

 

Day 5 (Wednesday) TRINIDAD - CIENFUEGOS - VARADERO Y / O HAVANA

 

Breakfast.

Departure to Varadero. In transit, tour of the city of Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South.

Tour of its streets and avenues founded by the French. It is located in a wonderful bay, where Cuba's largest coral is so far discovered, and baptized with the name of Notre Dame.

Visit to the Martí Park, Tomas Terry Theater, House of Cultural Assets and the Purísima Concepción Cathedral.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Continuation of the trip to Varadero or Havana, depending on hotel or selected house.

Pick up at Havana's José Martí Airport and transfer by bus to the Inglaterra Hotel.
Check in and accommodation on bed and breakfast basis. Free night.

Day 2 (Thursday) HAVANA

Breakfast and hotel pick-up and departure to Old Havana.
Visit to the Museum of Rum, which provides the opportunity to experience the rum-making process first hand, as well as an insight into the origins of Cuba's most popular distillate. Cuban rum is one of the most valued rums in the world for its quality and tradition.
Continuation on foot, visiting the Cathedral Square, the Plaza de Armas, the Plaza San Francisco de Asis, continuation along the famous Obispo Street with a stop at the Floridita Bar and tasting of the tasty Daiquiri, famous Cuban cocktail that Ernesto Hemingway drank regularly in this bar.
Lunch at a restaurant in the city, where you will enjoy a typical Cuban dish and mojitos.
Return to the hotel.

Day 3 (Friday) HAVANA - VIÑALES

Breakfast and departure to Viñales where the excursion of the place will take place.
Visit to the Casa del Veguero, to learn about Cuban tobacco. Continuation to the Cueva del Indio with a boat ride and visit to the Prehistoric Mural.
Lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious Creole meal. Visit to the Mirador de Los Jazmines.
Lodging and dinner at the hotel. Free night.

Day 4 (Saturday) VIÑALES -  HAVANA

Breakfast at the hotel.
Free lunch and departure to Havana, where upon arrival you will check in. At 8:00 p.m. departure to the San Carlos de la Cabaña Fortress to enjoy the Cañonazo Ceremony. There you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the other side of the bay.
Return to the hotel.

Day 5 (Sunday) HAVANA - CIÉNAGA DE ZAPATA - TRINIDAD

Breakfast and departure to Trinidad. Stop for lunch at Fiesta Campesina.
Continuation of the trip to Trinidad.
Tour of the historic center to appreciate the history and colonial architecture of the city. Visit to the Taberna La Canchánchara to enjoy Trinidadian music and taste the traditional drink.
Check-in at the hotel in Trinidad on bed and breakfast basis.
Night at leisure.

Day 6 (Monday) TRINIDAD - SANTA CLARA - VARADERO

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the Valle de los Ingenios to learn about sugar cane.
Visit to Manaca Iznaga, where you can enjoy a delicious guarapo, this sweet and refreshing drink very authentic of Cuba that takes us into one of the main economic resources in the history of the country, sugar cane. Continuation of the trip to Santa Clara.
Visit to Che's mausoleum and the armored train.
